I just upgraded to a Dual 2 GHz PowerPC G5 (Mac) using OS 10.3.8 with iPhoto 4.0.3 and now I can't download photos from my Sony MVC CD300. When I first connect the USB cable from the camera to the G5, I get a message stating: 'You have inserted a disk containing no volumes that Mac OS X can read.
To continue with the disk inserted, click ignore.' However, when I click Ignore, nothing happens. I previously owned a PowerPC G4 that used OS 9.2 and my camera would either download or I could insert the mini-CD into my optical drive and read the images on it. Does anyone have any suggestions? Will upgrading to iPhoto 5 resolve the problem?
